Bail granted to man accused of robbing ex-wife at gunpoint

FEDERAL INVESTIGATOR

The man arrested Saturday in connection with the robbery of a former wife of one of his former clients pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree bank robbery Friday.

Jeffrey James Broussard, 24, of West Hollywood, pleaded guilty in San Diego County Circuit Court to conspiracy to commit theft and two counts of robbery, according to the San Diego County sheriff’s office.

The alleged robbery occurred between early May 12 and early May 14, according to San Diego County jail records.

Cristian Gonzalez, 33, of San Diego, faces similar charges as Broussard as he’s being held in custody at the San Diego City Jail.
